• TA’ZIZ, a joint venture between ADNOC and ADQ, has awarded a $1.7 billion EPC contract to Samsung E&A for the construction of the UAE's first methanol production facility in Al Ruwais Industrial City. This plant, with a capacity of 1.8 million tonnes per annum, is expected to be completed by 2028 and will utilize clean energy from the grid.
