AMD unveiled its plan at its recent Analyst Day to drive a greater than 35% annual revenue compound growth rate over the next three-to-five years, with its data-centre business alone targeting over 60% growth.

The company also laid out technology road-maps spanning CPUs, AI accelerators and system-level solutions (like its Helios rack system), positioning itself to capture a portion of what it estimates as a $1 trillion data-centre market by 2030.

Why it matters

Being set for 35%+ growth signals that AMD is moving from niche challenger to major player in AI infrastructure. Its ability to capture high-growth segments could reshape competitive dynamics in semiconductors.
